The Friends of the Fairfax Station, Inc., an all volunteer organization, owns and operates the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum. The old depot, donated by Southern Railway and saved by The Friends, it focuses on trains, Clara Barton, and local history. Special events such as model train and Civil War shows.
