How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My educational background is interior design and fine arts. My husbands backgound is prelaw and business. When we met he was running his own painting contracting company and I brought another dimension to the party. The merger became Degage.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Unlike most other decorative arts/design companies we have been in this business for a long. We do not sub out our work. Our full time staff are long time employees, accustomed to working together or solo as the jobs dictate. Our 23 years in this industry are a positive reflection of our repeat client base, teamwork and the quality of work we produce.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location with still room to grow. We want to maintain this well situated location and expand our base here.

My husband and I jointly own and run the company. Charles and Trudy Simmmons.

7:30AM to 6 Monday- Thursday (art/design studios) 10-5 Fridays office only
