How long have you been in business?
Dominion Camera, located in Falls Church VA has been a Camera Store at this location since World War II. It is started its life at 112 West Broad Street as Porters, a photographic studio and supply store. In 1969 Tony Socaras bought the location from the Porters, and renamed it Dominion Camera. In 2014 Tony retired and Mohsen Jalali and Gary Henry purchased the store from Tony (then 85) combining it with Mohsen's store Ace Photo in Ashburn. to make it the largest and best Camera store in the Washington DC metro area.
What is your primary product or service?
Film developing, Printing and scanning, Photographic Supplies, Cameras of all types and sizes for the young an old professional or amateur.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Capturing the moment is a passion for Mo and Gary and helping people get the best from their memories is the cornerstone of the Mission of Dominion Camera.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Anyone can go into a store and purchase something. At Dominion Camera, you can come in a learn about Photography. Whether it is how to develop Black and while film or buy a Digital Camera. We have a staff of professionals that knowe photography and can help you make the "right" decision.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two locations. Ashburn Virginia and our Falls Church location.

Dominion Camera by Ace Photo is located at the intersection of Washington Street (Rt 29) and Broad Street (RT 7). We are in the same block as Browns Hardware and across the street from Irelands FourProvinces (4p's) in the heart of Falls Church

Monday - Friday 9-7, Saturday 9-6 Closed Sundays (we are opened a couple of Sundays around Christmas)
